Photography for a cause - Humanitarian & Reportage

Laura is a Reportage & Lifestyle Photographer constantly travelling with a camera and a notebook in her pocket. She loves capturing raw human stories, meaningful travel experiences, always focusing on cultivating awareness.

As Laura worked hard to build a portfolio of her best shots around the world, she became very attached to the people she photographed and increasingly began to ponder about what the word “humanitarian” meant.

After travelling to over 70 countries, capturing mostly paradise-like locations, actors, artists and fashion models, her mission and vision of being a photographer began to change. As her perspective began to shift, her heart began to focus on the needs of the people she was photographing. Nowadays, Laura is always trying to think about ways she can use humanitarian storytelling to improve the lives of the people she is photographing.

When everyone else is rushing to leave or turning their heads, I am determined to help those left behind - by telling their story through my lens.

Filled by endless desire to use her human and creative skills to bring awareness, she is always looking out for organizations, brands, stories, and people to tell their story through her lens.

During projects, Laura will visit schools, communities, camps or project sites in order to learn about the activities and interview the project participants while focusing on developing a story on the people, their daily life and family, as well as issues around communities (such as poverty or how an organization is trying to develop and support sustainability.

Her photos can and will be used for various proposal needs, including school reconstruction proposal, fundraising, event/partnership proposals, presentations for potential donors; as well as reports, website, newsletter, social media, brochures, and coffee table books.
